Holme Dene Care Home reopens after major refurbishment
We are pleased and proud to reopen Holme Dene Care Home in Halifax after a massive investment in the home, including a state of the art fire mist suppressant system. Beautiful carpeting and the enhancing of the beautiful wood panelling and intricate cornicing mean that Holme Dene is a home which is pleasing to the eye as well as being able to ensure the highest levels of safety for our residents.
Visitors to Holme Dene and its sister homes, Alexander House and Fernside Hall, are welcome anytime to see our beautiful homes. Please refer to the individual web page.
Home Manager achieved BSc in Dementia Care
Home Manager Sally Smedley, of Parklands House Nursing Home, in Rochdale, celebrated her massive achievement by attaining her BSc in dementia Care Studies. Sally undertook this course on a part time basis whilst working full time and caring for a young family. Eldercare are pleased to congratulate Sally on her efforts and know that the Residents in Parklands can only benefit from her knowledge and expertise.
